Maryland Parks Hicks, a native of Houston, Texas is the wife of Pastor Charles L. Hicks and First Lady of Ministering For Christ Christian Family Center. Maryland is an Anointed and Dynamic Minister of Music as well as being Spiritually gifted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

     Maryland Hicks is the Minister of Music, and also serves as the Primary Praise and Worship Leader, and has recently been appointed the Women's Ministry Council Coordinator for Ministering For Christ Christian Family Center.

     Maryland's Purpose for this Ministry is to Exalt the Lord, to Evangelize the community, and to Edify and Equip the Believers. The Ministry will also Encourage Women to develop a more Intimate Relationship with Christ and Advance to the Kingdom of God through service within and beyond their inner circle.

     Maryland's Vision for Ministering For Christ Christian Family Center Women's Ministry is to reach women all over the world with different backgrounds and ethnicities, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

     While obligations towards the Ministry is a priority, Maryland makes certain that her other Covenant Relationship is maintained. She humbly serves as her Husband's Helpmate and Works full-time as a Plastic Surgery Surgical Scrub Nurse.

     A graduate of Ben Taub Surgical Technology Program, Houston Computer Science University, attended Texas Southern University and Houston Community College for a Nursing Degree, Maryland is now currently now enrolled for classes @  College of Biblical Studies. She is also enrolled in the World Bible School, and Christian Leadership University.
