CHURCH HISTORY
On June 2, 2004, @ 07:30 p.m. A meeting was called to Order by Pastor Charles L. Hicks in his Apartment Home @ 3560 Dixie Dr., in Houston, Texas.
Pastor Hicks gave a review on the establishment of the church, MINISTERING FOR CHRIST CHRISTIAN FAMILY CENTER. There was also the option of Pastor Hicks accepting Pastoralship of another church offer, but the members who gathered at the meeting felt since God had given him a dream of him Foundering his own church, we should follow thru with God’s Plan. Everyone had a voice in the opinion and it was voted unanimously that we would establishment Ministering for Christ Christian Family Center.
It was also accepted and agreed by everyone that the Church would become Non-Denominational.
Location of the establishment was to be discussed in the next meeting on June 9, 2004; but on June 3, a suggestion was made to start Sunday Services in a Hotel temporarily. So two members (Sis. Bernice Mcneese, and Sis. Shirley Pete) went to work and located the Quality Inn Hotel, 7775 Airport Blvd, Arrangements was made to begin having Services that coming Sunday, June 6, @ 10:45 a.m.
And my God shall supply all {my} needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Amen

WE THANK GOD FOR PASTOR HICKS, FIRST LADY MARYLAND HICKS, AND ALL THE FAITHFUL MEMBERS OF M.F.C.C.F.C. FOR THE WONDERFUL VISION; AND DEDICATED WORKS THAT HAS BEEN DONE HERE @ OUR NEW BUT NOT FINAL LOCATION!

Our BIBLE STUDY WAS HELD ON WEDNESDAY NIGHTS @ 07:30 IN THE VARIOUS HOMES OF OUR DEDICATED AND FAITHFUL, HARDWORKING MEMBERS.
A church Motto was implemented by the pastor and Wife First Lady Maryland Hicks, who was divinely inspired with the name of “MINISTERING FOR CHRIST CHRISTIAN FAMILY CENTER.”
Our First Meeting was established and blessed with a total of 14 Charter Members.
Our First Sunday Services was also blessed with a total of over 40 Charter members.
Our Sundays Services had been in existence for six (6) weeks Before the 1st. Sunday of INAUGURAL Services; July 11, 2004
Our church Motto: Exhalt Christ, Encourage Christians, and Exemplify Christlikeness was implemented.
Our Banner: EXALT, EVANGELIZE, AND ENCOURAGE.
